Property Tax Code Section 1.085(a-1) allows property owners to request electronic communication with the district.

To register as a property owner, you will need your Property ID or Owner ID and PIN. To register as an agent, you will need your Agent ID and PIN. This information can be found at the top of your appraisal notice. Your PIN is case sensitive and must be entered exactly as shown. Do not share your PIN, as it is considered your signature. PIN information cannot be given out over the phone. If you need access to your PIN, you may request that it be mailed to you by submitting a request through our Help Center or by calling 210-242-2432.

To begin, go to Property Search and select the Log In button in the upper-right corner of the page. Create an account using a valid email address. You will receive a verification email from “Bexar Public Portal”. Click the Verify Email Address link to complete your account setup. Once verified, return to Property Search and log in.

Once logged in, select My Dashboard, then select Claim Property. Enter either the Property ID or Owner ID along with your PIN, then click Validate. Once the Validation Successful message pops up, click on Claim Property. Refresh your browser to view your claimed property(ies) and published documents.

From My Dashboard, click on View Details for your property, then select File ECA. Complete and submit the form.
