Pitcher Carley Hoover tossed a career-high 11 strikeouts and recorded her second straight complete game as the Portland Cascade (11-7) ran their winning streak to three games with a 2-1 victory over the Carolina Blaze (8-9) in eight innings in Athletes Unlimited Softball League action at a sold-out Hillsboro Ballpark on Wednesday night.
