RESIDENTIAL APPRAISER

The Bexar Appraisal District, San Antonio, is accepting applications for the position of Residential Appraiser. The position will perform the functions and activities associated with the appraisal of assigned residential properties to include inspection, data collection, analysis and application of appropriate valuation approaches and techniques. Position exercises broad discretion regarding appraisal values and will represent the District in formal and informal protest hearings.

QUALIFICATIONS

 High school diploma and a minimum of two (2) years experience in an agency or firm that conducts mass appraisals, and successful completion of BTPE approved course #1 and at least one intermediate level course 2, 5, 7, etc or their equivalents in first year of employment.

OR

A four year college or university degree with relevant courses in business, accounting, finance, real estate or management preferred.

Salary to be determined by qualifications and experience.
